FSX RIP    (Back to News List)
So what is to become of Microsoft's beloved Flight Sim now the Aces Studio, the FS development 'wing' of Microsoft has closed down? Will anyone else take over the reigns, if indeed the license is sold?  I think we have certainly seen the end of it in its present guise. It is reported that the next version would have been geared more towards the gaming market anyway - something many weren't keen to see.

X-Plane has of course siezed the moment in announcing support for FS developers to transfer their skills across. I will certainly give it another try!
