Clubhouse Renovation Project
The clubhouse is now open for business as usual after a new paint scheme and some alterations to the building. Special thanks goes to all the club members who helped in the transformation.
Runway Re-Open
The re-surfacing of the runway into the Charlie Hold is now complete. Consequently the airfield is open for business as usual.
You will see that the lead off the runway into the Charlie Hold is narrower than it was before and so, until we can re-paint the white edge markings and yellow hold lines please keep clear of the edges of the black-top.

Duty Pilot Changes
Due to a significant number of members either downgrading their membership or not renewing it has become necessary to revise the Duty Pilot rotas for both Saturdays and Sundays. Many apologies if you had already worked out plans for the period but I have tried to keep changes to a minimum.
From next year the rota will run from February thus reducing the need for such changes to be made in the future. There are a few social members who have already indicated there willingess to help out where there are Duty Pilot shortages and thanks goes to them.
If you are able to assist in filling gaps as they arise then do let me know. This does NOT however remove the onus on the Duty Pilot to arrange a replacement to SWAP their turn should they not be available.
Foreign Flights
There is a new requirement regarding the circulation of GARs.
In addition to submitting the GAR to the NCU there is a new requirement to email or fax a copy to the UK Border Agency at Norwich Airport (norwichdutyofficer@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk or fax 01603 268961). Any queries contact UKBA by telephone at 01603 268960.
GARs should be filed prior to departure or at least 4 hours prior to arrival.
