The following selection of images are of a typical flight conducted under the privelages of a 'Private Pilots License'. This Seething based pilot flew South towards Ipswich before returning to Land back at base.
Our plane for this trip is a Cirrus SR22 and gets ready to recieve passengers.

A view of the river Waveney and recent flooding as the flight heads South.

Inbetween the clouds as the aircraft climbs through 4000ft. Only pilots trained to fly on instruments can fly in clouds.

Skimming the clouds at 6000ft.

Where are we!

A view of Ipswich docks and the Orwell bridge as the aircraft makes a turn towards the North.

This is the old RAF Beccles airfield, in part home to a flying club but mostly used as an industrial base.

This is the sugar beet processing plant at Cantley, a useful landmark for pilots navigating to Seething.

Safely on the ground again.
