Memerbship Information

If you have browsed through the rest of the web site you will realise that the airfield is run by Seething's flying club members on a purely non-commercial basis. This makes it a highly affordable base to fly from or indeed to learn to fly compared with other places.

Wingtask 1995 at Seething are currently looking to increase its membership of existing PPLs and potential members looking to learn to fly.

Flying members are restricted in number so that the club does not get too large and those who do not have their own aircraft can get their chance to fly. Because of this membership is not always available.

Benefits of Membership

All members benefit from the friendly atmosphere of the club house. As we are a private non profit-making club, prices are pretty cheap - and that includes the licensed bar!

There are two levels of membership; Flying Membership and Social Membership. Flying Membership is available to Existing Pilots and Student Pilots and provides all the benefits expected from an airfield.

Social Membership is available to those waiting to join as a Student Pilot, those unable to fly any longer, and anyone else having that GA bug.
