Fly in to Seething Airfield

We are fifty years old this year and celebrating with our first Great East Anglian ‘Celebration’ Fly-in. This is the first fly-in of what we hope will be many.

We are fifty years old this year and celebrating with our first Great East Anglian ‘Celebration’ Fly-in. Pilots of all types from across the country are invited to join us in a weekend of activities beginning 3pm Saturday 5th June.

Saturday Sleep Over - (Bring your tent!) Join us in the afternoon and stay overnight for an evening 'Hangar Bash' & BBQ.

Sunday All Comers. Everyone’s welcome to Fly and join us - Fun & Games, BBQ, competitions. Prize table and a special prize for the 50th landing of the day - a free fuel fill up (conditions apply - see below).

Runway 24 800mtr Tarmac UNLISENCED. Circuit: Left hand @1000ft
Runway 06 800mtr Tarmac UNLISENCED. Circuit: Right hand @1000ft
Radio: 122.600 A/G Service only
Fuel: 100LL AVGAS
RFFS: Saturday 5th June 1000 until Sunday 6th June 1700.

Please contact the airfield on 01508 550453 before departure to obtain the very latest airfield information. Aircraft requiring fuel must advise ATC and will be directed to the 'APLHA RAMP'. Visiting Aircraft will be parked on the 'BRAVO RAMP' and 'CHARLIE RAMP'. All aircraft must follow marshallers instructions. Due to local restrictions, we are unable to accommodate HELICOPTERS for this event. AUTOGYRO'S, MICROLIGHTS and MOTORGLIDERS will be welcome.

The airfield is non-commercial so NO LANDING FEES are applicable however DONATIONs are accepted in the club house and will be very much appreciated.

The 'FREE FUEL FILL UP' prize applies to a unique arrival only. Multiple arrivals and departures from the same registered aircraft will not qualify and Multi-engined aircraft are excluded from participating in the free fuel prize.

ACTIVITIES for pilots and their passengers will be available from 10am Sunday. PRIZE'S to be awarded by 3pm. Prizes not claimed by 3pm will be awarded to runners up. 

The 'Old Control Tower Museum' will be open and entry is free, however, a donation towards their running costs would be much appreciated.
