Seething Airfield Charity Air Day

Seething Airfield Charity Air Day

The 8th Seething Airfield Charity Air Day takes place on Sunday 7th September 2008. It is hoped to have the same mix of aircraft displays, vintage vehicles, stalls and entertainment which proved so popular last year.

The Air Day at Seething continues to grow in popularity and bills itself very much as a local family event rather than a national air display. As such it has its own special atmosphere and is looked forward to by many. Space for stall holders ran out in June, such has been the interest of the event.

Once again Seething Airfield Tower Museum has played a big part in the organisation of the event. The airfield's old Control Tower will be the backdrop for a display of military vehicles and re-enactors providing a truly nostalgic entrance to the site.

Once again the main charity to benefit will be the East Anglian Air Ambulance which continues to provide an essential service to everyone in the area.

Seething Airfield is situated south of Brooke on the Norwich - Bungay road.Follow the sign for Seething Industrial Estate into Harvey’s Lane and straight over the crossroads into Toad Lane.
